Rockland Manufacturing, Bedford, Pa., says it has recently become a partner with Hartl Crusher, an Austrian company that specializes in crushing and screening equipment. Rockland has become the exclusive distributor for the United States and Canada of Hartl products.

“Dedication to quality and service has earned Hartl a global reputation for excellence which made them an ideal candidate for a partnership with Rockland,” says Dan Shaffer, President and CEO at Rockland Manufacturing. “The design of the Hartl crushing bucket won the prestigious Red Dot award for design excellence in 2013. We are extremely pleased to be able to offer this product to our dealers and their customers.”

With over 40 years in business, Hartl has applied its expertise to design what it says is a world-class excavator-mounted crushing bucket. “Quattro” movement of the crushing jaw allows Hartl crushing buckets to maximize production of not only tons per hour but also of usable material, the company says.
Cast from a combination of alloys for high strength and high abrasion resistance, the crushing jaws are built to last, according to the company. The Hartl crusher offers a flexible, mobile and economical crushing solution for rock, as well various materials found in recycling and demolition applications, Hartl says. The crusher features a centralized lubrication system which does not require disassembly, making maintenance easy and quick.

Rockland Manufacturing has designing and manufacturing equipment for dozers, loaders, excavators and motor graders for more than 60 years. More information on the company is available at
