HBD Industries Inc., a supplier of industrial products based in Dublin, Ohio, has announced several management changes at Ohio Magnetics Inc., an affiliate of HBD. Ohio Magnetics, based in Maple Heights, Ohio, manufactures lifting magnets and magnetic separation equipment
John Wohlgemuth, general manager of Ohio Magnetics, has retired after close to 30 years with the company.
“Under John’s leadership, Ohio Magnetics became an industry leader in developing and manufacturing quality lifting magnets, lifting magnet systems and magnetic separation equipment,” says Randy Greely, chairman and CEO of HBD Industries. “We wish John the best in his retirement.”
Replacing Wohlgemuth as general manager of Ohio Magnetics is Ken Richendollar. The company also has promoted Walter Civovic to the position of sales manager.
“Ken and Walt have extensive knowledge of magnetic lifting systems and separation equipment and a track record of providing exceptional service to our valued customers around the world,” Greely says.

Richendollar started with Ohio Magnetics as a quality assurance supervisor in 1983. In 1988, he transferred to the company’s sales department where he served as product manager. In 2001 Richendollar was promoted to sales manager, responsible for global sales, customer service and marketing of Ohio Magnetics and Stearns product lines.
Civovic began with Ohio Magnetics in the production department in 1985 and was named production control manager in 1986. He later joined Ohio Magnetics’ sales department as a product manager and was promoted to sales manager in 1997. Civovic left Ohio Magnetics for a brief period of time, but returned in 2006 as product manager for Ohio Magnetics’ brand of magnetic separation equipment.
