Kobelco Construction Machinery USA, a Houston-based company that produces crawler excavators in the 3,000-180,000-pound classes for the rental, landscape, construction, aggregate, road building, material handling, site preparation, recycling and ancillary markets, has added a number of staff members who bring significant experience to the company.

Holly Rink

The company recently hired Holly Rink as its business manager. Rink brings to the company more than eight years of experience working with various construction equipment manufacturers.

She will be responsible for inventory control and production planning for all Kobelco product lines based on industry reports and forecasting. She also will manage freight coordination and logistics to move the equipment to end markets as quickly as possible.

“Holly’s extensive management background, combined with her results-driven attitude, makes her an ideal fit for Kobelco,” says Ron Hargrave, Kobelco’s vice president, marketing and sales. “We are delighted to have her join the company and are confident she will thrive in her new position.”

Kobelco also appointed Denis Martin as its Canadian sales representative. Martin has more than 10 years of industry expertise. The company says that Martin will work with Kobelco dealers and Canada, while providing continual sales support and assistance to the company.

Denis Martin

Prior to joining Kobelco, Martin held various sales management positions with companies such as John Deere, Agritex Inc., Praxair Inc. and CNH America LLC.

“Denis has shown considerable strength in developing quality dealer networks and providing thorough, reliable sales support,” says Hargrave. “His expertise will be invaluable to our dealer network in Canada.”

The company also named Matthew Csoka Southeastern sales representative. Csoka, with a deep background in the construction equipment industry, will be responsible for providing support and assistance to Kobelco dealers throughout the Southeast. He will train dealer personnel on the features and benefits of Kobelco products and ensure they are provided with the necessary tools to successfully market Kobelco equipment.
