Femco Holdings LLC, Punxsutawney, Pa., says it has added two new locations that will provide machine and repair services for the company.

In Bismarck, N.D., Femco’s new facility will help service the shale drilling efforts in the Bakken formation with field service, emergency repair, custom manufacturing solutions and equipment parts sales. The facility will be led by David Polsfuss, who was been named VP of Operations, North Dakota. “This expansion was extremely critical for us as our customers were requesting our support in the region,” says Dan Rondeau, Femco president and CEO.

On the West Coast, Femco Holdings has acquired Precision Machine & Welding Inc., located in Olivehurst, Calif. According to Femco, the acquisition brings with it personnel with years of experience in the scrap and recycling industry, aggregate, and heavy equipment segments. Femco will retain Precision Machine’s current staff, including founder Larry Potter Jr. as the VP of operations, California.

“The partnership with Femco will help us expand our capabilities so we can provide additional services to our current customers and also allow us to expand into other market segments,” says Potter. “I view this as a win-win for everyone.”

The Bismarck and Olivehurst facilities join Femco facilities in Punxsutawney and Gladewater, Texas.
