Grand Rapids, Minnesota-based ASV LLC, a manufacturer of compact track loaders and skid steers, has introduced the Posi-track RT-75 compact track loader. ASV’s Posi-Track undercarriage is designed with high ground clearance, low ground pressure and a long track life. The Posti-track can be used in construction, landscaping, agriculture, forestry and snow removal applications.

The machine features ASV’s Posi-track rubber track suspension. The dual-level suspension of the RT-75 features both suspended wheels and axles. The suspended wheels and flexible track are designed to conform to the ground. The RT-75 comes standard with 18-inch wide tracks, resulting in a ground pressure of 3.6 pounds per square inch. Optional 20-inch tracks result in ground pressures of 3.2 pounds per square inch.

The ASV undercarriage is an open-rail and drive-sprocket design. The design is made to increase sprocket and bogie life as well as make the undercarriage easy and fast to clean. The tracks contain embedded copolymer cords that are produced using a single-cure process. The company says the result is a 1,500- to 2,000-hour track life. ASV offers a two-year, 1,500-hour track warranty.

The RT-75 features a Cummins 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel engine and direct-drive hydraulic motors. With internal rollers in the undercarriage, all power is transferred to the track regardless of drive speed. The engine can be serviced through a three-panel hood and tilting cooler arrangement.

The RT-75 features a rated operating capacity of 2,650 pounds and a tipping load of 7,571 pounds. It is 70 inches wide and has a 126-inch lift height. The track loader also is available in a customization package that includes guarding around areas such as lights, the AC condenser and the rear screen. The RT-75 heavy duty uses a hydraulically driven, auto-reversing cooling fan to blow debris out of the engine compartment screens. A full rear brush guard is also available as a factory installed option. The unit can be paired with all standard attachments, such as backhoes, buckets, snow blades, brush cutters and pallet forks.

“Our goal at ASV is to provide our customers versatile equipment they can use for everything, regardless of the time of year, to achieve a high return on investment,” says Bill Wake, ASV director of product development. “The RT-75 lets our customers work longer days, tackle more applications and reduce maintenance. That’s a winning combination. We really focus on maximum performance with no compromises and the RT-75 delivers.”
