Health and safety training program will be Oct. 26-27 at the Sheraton Needham Hotel near Boston.
Space is still available for the National Demolition Association’s (NDA) Northeast Regional Training Session, an intensive health and safety training program being held Oct. 26-27 at the Sheraton Needham Hotel in the Boston suburb of Needham, Mass.
The demolition training program is open to industry professionals involved in any aspect of the demolition process, including general contracting, civil engineering, and recycling. “We welcome professionals from the entire East Coast to come to this important training event,” says Michael R. Taylor, CAE, Executive Director of the NDA.
Participants earn certifications for both the OSHA Demolition-specific 10-hour construction health and safety training and the Lift Safety Training course. Other program offerings include Industrial Hygiene 101 for the demolition industry and PCBs in caulk.
The National Demolition Association – recognized nationally as the authority on demolition safe work practices – has been providing the latest demolition safety training programs to the construction and demolition industries since establishing the Demolition Safety Summit in 1994. The trade organization will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2013.
Complete information about the session and registration is posted on the NDA website www.demolitionassociation.com. To contact the association call 800-541-2412 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
