Komptech Americas
Denver-based Komptech Americas and Plexus Recycling Technologies have appointed Brandon Lapsys as president of both organizations. Marcel Vallen previously held this position; he left the company in April.
Prior to taking on this position, Lapsys served in many roles at Komptech Americas. According to a news release from Komptech Americas, he has played a key role in the evolution of the business, overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and direction senior staff since 2008. Lapsys also helped with the launch of the Plexus Recycling Technologies business in 2016.
“Every day I am excited at the opportunity to help our customers succeed within the North American waste and recycling markets,” Lapsys says. “Innovative waste processing technologies, superior engineering and breadth of expertise are the foundational components of Komptech and Plexus that will lead us into the future.”
Moving forward, Lapsys will continue to be based at the company’s headquarters in Denver. In addition to his role as president, he also currently serves on the board of directors for the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA), where he was named C&D Member of the Year in March.
Komptech Americas is the main distributor of Komptech equipment throughout the western hemisphere. The company has a specialized portfolio that includes more than 30 types of machines covering key processes in modern waste handling. Plexus Recycling Technologies is a recycling solutions provider.
