McCloskey International, headquartered in Petersborough, Ontario, has added the Mexican company Maquineria S.A. (MAQSA) to its global network of distributors. The company will service McCloskey customers throughout northern Mexico.

Maquineria serves private companies and government customers in a range of industries, including mining, construction and agriculture.

“Having MAQSA on board will further strengthen our distribution network globally. Mexico presents some unique and exciting possibilities that we anticipate will contribute to our growth in the marketplace,” says John O’Neill, vice president of marketing and sales for McCloskey International, a manufacturer of screening and crushing equipment. “MAQSA has excellent relationships with customers in the mining and construction industries, and working together will benefit not only our companies but - more importantly - their customers.”

In becoming a McCloskey dealer, Rito Ruiz, sales manager for Maquineria, notes, “In the next five years we anticipate growth in the mining and construction sectors. We wanted to add crushers and screeners to our equipment line-up, and chose McCloskey for its quality and reliability.”

Maquineria has more than 60 years of experience in providing heavy machinery in Mexico. The company has the exclusive distribution rights for Caterpillar and Ingersoll Rand. The company has branch locations throughout the states of Chihuahua and Durango.
