Scott Walker, former executive with Oberg Industries, will pursue market growth for the parts and service company.
Femco Machine Co. , based in Punxsutawney, Pa., has added Scott Walker as vice president of sales and marketing. Walker will be responsible for developing the company’s presence in the markets that Femco serves. The company manufactures a diverse range of aftermarket and OEM parts for equipment used in a variety of industries, including recycling, industrial manufacturing, oil and gas and construction and mining.
Femco also provides emergency repair services to its customers in these industries via a nationwide fleet of fully equipped field service trucks. Femco's footprint includes four service and manufacturing locations in addition to the corporate headquarters in Pa.
Most recently Walker was director of sales and business development for Oberg Industries, Freeport, Pa., a manufacturer of precision components and tooling. Over his 26-year career with the company, Walker worked in sales, engineering and manufacturing.
At Femco Walker says his plan is to continue to expand the company’s reach. “My task is to grow our presence in the strategic markets we serve and increase our penetration,” he says. “We’re looking to double the revenue in the next couple of years,” Walker adds. “We’re looking for significant growth in the next few years. This will require that we add talented and skilled personnel to the team to be able to achieve that goal.”
